He's just saying he wants to see the woman reinvest into the relationship, that's all. Yes, you can save a portion but if he gives you money he would like to see what you spend it on so he knows how much to give you next time. If you put it in a savings account, that's all YOUR money. Just kick back a little bit to he can feel like he's making a good investment.

You give me THOUSANDS of dollars and I’m maxing out my high yield savings account. Then stacking an emergency fund for a rainy day. You never know when you may need her on the back end. You said you’ve retired your girl so she should have a savings to cover her. Isn’t that what retirement is? Living off savings? I’m going to buy those glamorous things also but always savings too. You should want a financially secure and smart woman.

So let me get this straight, if you’re giving her money you want her to spend it all…because God forbid she put in a high yield savings account as a back up in case you get hurt or incapacitated in some way and are unable to provide and she needs to help or keep yall afloat until things recover. Life is so unpredictable. This sounds a little insecure.
