Surveying and setting out – the road levels, boundaries, gradients, and drainage positions are marked. 📍 2. Site clearance and excavation – vegetation, old surfaces, unsuitable soil, and excess material are removed. 🗑️ 3. Drainage and utilities installed – drains, ducts, pipes, manholes, and other underground services are put in place. 💧 4. Subgrade prepared and compacted – the ground underneath the road is shaped, strengthened if necessary, and compacted. 🛣️ 5.
