for both my girls i just started putting them into underwear and when they had an accident they HATED being wet or poopy but they definitely caught on super fast! that'll be the first thing i try when it comes to potty training my son but that method may not work for him🤷‍♀️

We did naked at 18 m and it was a NO GO. But then we tried again at 26 m and bam it worked that next time. 😅

I agree with this 100%. took months for my son to accept clothing again 😂 but i also disagree that the 3 day method is the best 😬 maybe for some families but i took it slow and followed his lead. it took a lot longer (especially poop) but he was still fully potty trained by about 20 months.

I hated the naked method. It gave me anxiety just waiting for the mess. Then I felt like my son would learn he can just pee anywhere on anything! Switched to letting him feel when he peed and then the switch flipped for him and he was potty trained so quick. Good luck momma!

I didn’t do the naked method, the first time I tried to start potty training my oldest I put a diaper on her for a nap and she woke up with diarrhea😂 so I waited a week and she was potty trained somehow lmao

I don’t like the naked method. I find it forceful and like you said, encourages them to enjoy being naked. My kids started to n take his diaper off and pee around 18 months and always hated diapers, so I turned on Ms Rachel and he immediately started to get comfortable sitting on the potty! We have continued to offer the potty whenever there are signs and we used pull ups or potty training undies until we felt he was consistently making it to the potty in time.

I agree! Naked method is not the best way. I trained my girl twin first since she was ready and boy twin wasn’t. She was potty trained in 5 days because she was ready. Just after 2 years old

They are too young!! I used cloth diapers on all 3 of my children. They were all 3 potty trained before they were 2yrs old. It has to do with the fact they don’t like the feeling of being wet.

Nope agree!!!! Just potty trained and made him wear underwear and walked SOOOO slow to change his underwear bc it was uncomfy for him

From someone who worked in a daycare, you put clothes on them and usually kids will hate being wet from peeing in their pants!
