@freysbarton: #malachi + #kamri :: happy 5 months to laya 🥹🤞🏼 honestly, i don’t even know where to start because it’s actually crazy to think that it’s been 5 months already. somehow 5 months feels like such a long time and no time at all at the same time. like how have we managed to make so many memories, have so many conversations, laugh over the most random things, and become so close in only 5 months. i just want you to know how genuinely grateful i am for you. having you in my life is something i never want to take for granted. even though we’re long distance and we can’t just randomly meet up whenever we want or go out together or do all the normal bestfriend things, you’ve never once made the distance make our friendship feel any less real. if anything, you’ve made me realise that distance really doesn’t matter when you have someone who genuinely cares about you. you’ve become such a huge part of my life and my everyday routine. whether we’re talking for hours, sending each other random messages, laughing about something on call that probably wouldn’t even be funny to anyone else, complaining about our days, telling each other things nobody else knows, or literally just being there for each other, i appreciate every single bit of it. even the completely stupid conversations where we argue and then cry from laughter at how ridiculous we sound bc a second later we’re back to flirting. those are some of my favourite moments with you and i will always cherish them. i love how comfortable i feel with you. i never feel like i have to pretend to be someone i’m not or worry about being judged. i can be completely myself around you, even when i’m being emotional, dramatic and overthinking something for the 500th time or talking absolute nonsense because somehow you still put up with me. i’m genuinely so greatful for it. you’ve been there for me in ways you probably don’t even realise. sometimes it’s the smallest things you do or say that mean the most and ofcourse your sweet edits and words that i know you put so msuch love and thought into because that’s just the kind of person you are. just knowing that i have someone i can talk to when i’m having a bad day, someone who will listen to me when i need to rant, someone that can make me laugh with when i need cheering up, and someone who genuinely wants to know how i’m doing means more to me than i could ever properly explain. in all honestly i think you know me better than myself. i hope you know that i’ll always be that person for you too. no matter how far away i am, i’m always going to be here for you. if you need someone to talk to about anything, someone to listen to the same story 10 times, someone to hype you up, someone to tell you that your beautiful and deserve to be treated so much better, or literally just someone to sit there and talk about absolutely nothing with, you’ve got me. i promise that i will always be here by your side to cheer you on. i’m so thankful that somehow life brought us together because i genuinely can’t imagine not having you now. it’s weird to think there was a time when i didn’t know you because now you feel like someone who has been in my life forever. you’ve become one of those people that i automatically want to tell things to. something happens and you’re one of the first people i think about telling. i see something funny or a post about bestfriends and immediately press the share button to send to you. i’m so incredibly lucky to call you my bestfriend and i honestly wouldn’t trade what we have for anything. distance may mean i can’t physically be there beside you, but please never let that make you doubt how much you mean to me. you are important to me, you matter to me, and i’m always going to care about you more than you probably realise. happy 5 months my bestfriend, my other half, my lailai 🥹 @lainey ˎˊ˗ #fyp #viral #makemefamous @Malachi Barton @Kamri Peterson
