@swishbreaks: Some card collections are worth far more than the price tags attached to them. One collector recently inherited part of his dad’s baseball card collection, but the connection to the game goes back generations. His family has called Michigan home since the 1800s, and both his grandfather and father grew up as diehard Detroit Tigers fans. So when he finally started looking through the collection, seeing page after page of Tigers cards immediately brought back memories. These weren’t cards that were bought as investments or tucked away hoping they’d someday become valuable. They were collected by people who genuinely loved their team and the game of baseball. Now, decades later, those same cards have been passed down to another generation. Players come and go, seasons end, and cardboard ages — but the memories attached to a collection like this can last forever. Sometimes the most valuable cards are the ones you’d never sell. ❤️
