@wei.lin.ngrow: A different side of Los Angeles. ROW DTLA and the Arts District show how well LA can reinvent old industrial spaces. ROW DTLA was once part of the historic LA Terminal Market. Today, the old warehouses, brick walls, steel structures and oversized industrial windows have been transformed into a creative district filled with design, fashion, coffee and great food. You’ll find places like Go Get Em Tiger, Bodega, KINTO, A+R, Reform, FASHIONPHILE, Pizzeria Bianco, Kato and more. Nearby in the Arts District, old factories now mix with galleries, restaurants, street art and new residential spaces. Hauser & Wirth is one of the best examples. The former industrial buildings now house major contemporary art, gardens, a bookstore and Manuela — a restaurant that feels like part of the art space itself. What I like most is that the old buildings were not erased. They were reimagined. That’s what makes this part of LA feel so creative, sophisticated and different. Definitely worth exploring. #LosAngeles #ArtsDistrict #ROWDTLA #HauserAndWirth #RealEstateTalk
