![[READ HERE] “Rocking R Ranch and Rescue” @RockingRrescue based out of Mississippi had a 3 legged horse born a little over a year ago on site, and instead of being a normal ethical rescue and euthanizing him on the spot, they kept him and are still keeping him alive in immense pain for the millions they make a year off him. They use a human chiropractor with no horse experience and an uneducated vet to say it’s okay, over countless reputable ones and professionals with much more experience and qualifications that say otherwise. They force emotional manipulation onto people to convince them that a disabled horse is no different than a disabled human, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Horses put 65-70% of their weight on their front legs, so for an animal of hundreds to thousands of pounds putting more than most of that weight onto ONE leg, is beyond painful and inhumane. They make over a million a year off him and are still asking for more money, despite the fact they blow through over a million a year on human luxuries and end up being behind by thousands. They rehomed horses to a neglectful owner and are now trying to sue another rescue for saving those horses and not giving them back into Rocking R, despite it being proven several times in court that Rocking R is not qualified to take them back. They also have several other horses in chronic pain that they refuse to humanely euthanize despite no quality of life. It is ALWAYS better a day too soon than too late.
