@theptmama: L!NK IN B!O So HOW do they work? Aerlos by @New Found Hope are designed to encourage a more heel-to-toe walking pattern by giving kids additional sensory feedback while they walk. You can see the difference with my daughter ..barefoot, she tends to pop up onto her toes, but in her Aerlos she demonstrates a much flatter-foot walking pattern. ⚠️ Pediatric PT disclaimer: Shoes are NOT a treatment or “cure” for toe walking, and they won’t address every reason a child may toe walk. Persistent, frequent, severe, or new-onset toe walking.. especially with tightness, pain, weakness, asymmetry, regression, or other developmental concerns ..should be evaluated by your child’s pediatrician and/or a pediatric PT. This is simply what I’ve observed with my own child, and results will vary.
