People put too much value on texting, especially when it’s with a new person they’ve just met either through a dating app or in person. The point of texting is to set up and make plans with someone it’s not meant to be used as a replacement for in person connection and closeness you both are individuals with lives and need to give space to each other whilst also making time to go on dates if you’re interested. All this if they haven’t replied in 24 hours, I’m blocking them is air

I was once like this and it’s not completely healthy so I’ll say this just have some sort of hobby or job and let it be natural it seems like a lot of you want to purposefully not speak to the person you’re romantically dealing with on purpose to prove to TikTok that u can go a month or 2 months without speaking to them that’s to much also when you’re dealing with a good person and it’s natural you both are going to be away from each other healthily so naturally you’re gonna want to be around each other more

Ehhh I think it depends on context…if you’re actively trying to date a person and be in a relationship with that person, 24 hours is crazy. If you’re just friends then yeah get you a hobby…

100% agree, i personally like to respond to people as fast as i can but i’m not gonna get mad if someone takes time responding i can be slow sometimes aswell if i’m busy with stuff. Let people operate on their own time.
