the thing is people DID take her seriously. euphoria S2 had a lot of hype around her acting range, she capitalized on that w the nun movie, i think she had goodwill of the public even up to her romcom bc she produced it, and she had lots of projects before that that were well regarded. it all went tl shit after the bathwater fiasco
