start with more specific questions 1. did you have fun today? 2. were your friends nice? 3. who's your favorite teacher? 4. was any one mean to the teacher? 5.are there quiet kids in your class? then add follow up questions this teaches them how to open up more to you while also learning how to hold on a conversation. add your personal experiences at your age. this helps you to learn about their classmates and you can give your input on them choosing good friends. hope this helps ♥️
