I have tmj like that. I wouldn't recommend you keep doing that on purpose tho. especially the shifting part and it will or can cause headaches when it's acting up

I’m in tmj rehab right now with a mouth orthotic. Insurance unfortunately doesn’t cover it.

TMJ, please talk to your dentist or orthodontist. This could be causing your headaches! I had terrible TMJ as a child with bad headaches. It even gave me posture and shoulder issues believe it or not.
