Low self esteem is a big deal. That’s one thing I wish I understood 15 years ago. Low self esteem breeds cheaters and men who will criticize you and tear you down because they hate themselves.

this message resonated so much! I'm in my late 30s -still trying to date. And I recently came across a dude who described women as "shallow, self absorbed narcissists" on his Hinge profile. I got a hunch, and sort of a intuitive feeling, but ended up ignoring it because everything else on his profile checked my boxes. I thought maybe he's just tired of being played on the app. Who knows? I rationalized it and matched with him anyway. 3 weeks go by. Hes putting in minimal effort, hid the fact that he had a kid, and after I called him out, that resentment started turning onto me! He became condescending and dismissive. Called me names and made me feel crazy. OMG! I learned to trust that hunch. Stay away from resentful bastards that speak poorly of women early on! There is usually more hiding behind it
