@panhandlewx: ⛈️ SATURDAY SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK The Storm Prediction Center has a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe thunderstorms Saturday across parts of the central Plains, with a broader area where isolated severe storms could develop from the central High Plains and Rockies into portions of the Midwest and Southeast. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. For Northwest Florida, we are not in the main severe-weather risk area, but a few thunderstorms could drift southwest into parts of the region late Saturday afternoon and evening. A few storms could become strong, so it’s worth keeping an eye on the radar if you have outdoor plans. The bigger story here will still be the heat and humidity, with highs in the 90s and heat index values near 100° in spots. __________________________________________ 🚜 Saturday’s severe weather outlook is sponsored by Parish Tractor in Marianna.
