@zach_webber_: 27 weeks until our due date - here are 5 things I’m working on before baby #3 arrives 1. Patience 2. Being present 3. Dating my wife 4. Learning how to raise women 5. More daddy daughter dates!
(first of all I love Liz, been a follower for some time) Not that I’m an expert but I did grow up with an amazing dad (both parents but specifically talking about dad) and he really pushed me in sports. Look up female confidence, education and success in former athletes- very interesting. I have an almost 4 year old daughter and I hope to push her hard in competitive sports just like I was- the benefits have been endless for me.

Communication: if they feel safe to tell you anything and everything, they will always feel like you have their back. I’m sure Liz does this already, but body positivity and body awareness, no nicknames for body parts.

My wife and I had our second in July. And it automatically increased the number of daddy daughter dates I had with our daughter. Some of the highlights of my summer/paternity leave is the time I got with her. I go back to work next week and I’m sad lol

Figure out your “girl” and let them take you a date they want. Your wife might easier because she was first. Yet, for me, I was surrounded by my grandpa and uncles so I need to “keep” up. I did but that was because of my dad. Yet he knew I always had a book with me so when we went into the city, he took me to a book store (I was a tomboy with an unlimited hungry to love words

Make sure your girls read, doesn’t matter what but in the middle of this world we gotta encourage our kiddos to read(always would recommend Toni Morrison and a book called ‘Vagina: a re-education’ really good book for young women to know their bodies.
