Dienogest literally made me want to set the world on fire… just got added to my meds after an emergency laparoscopy and I came off it after the worst three weeks of my life 😭

Is endometriosis constant pain? I’m about to have a laparoscopy done to investigate but I’m having doubts it’s even this. The pain isn’t constant but when it’s there it’s painful. Can anyone confirm?

I managed 6 weeks on dienogest and had to stop taking it last week 😔 I couldn't take the random prolonged heavy bleeding and spotting that wasnt during my period,incredibly low moods and migraines 😭

Managed 6 weeks on Ryeqo . Took a flare up this week while on it . Leg swelling and cramping from I started it so my gp advised me to come off it 🙏🏻. I’ve now been prescribed tramadol for pain .

It’s just the worst isn’t it, total hysterectomy for me back in 2018 at 32 years old. Hope you are ok xx

This is what exactly how I feel I will react to the pill but gynecology discharged me from them because I didn't want to try it. and my GP won't refer me back until I try it even though I've shared my concerns and my symtoms have come back in full force since my laparoscomy.

I gave up with all forms of pills, after putting on so much weight, or turning into a emotional terrorist [Innocent] I’m now in the menopause and am avoiding hrt for the same reasons, I did get to a point where I went to the gp…who then prescribed me a hrt that as someone with endometriosis, I should not be prescribed…so I am just riding it out

every hormonal pill thing makes me pile on weight bloat worse than the endo and generally feel like I want to die. I've just got to the point where I prefer the cysts and heavy periods which is bonkers
