@wrestlingnewsco: Sean Sharaf called Gable Steveson a rapist on stage at Thursday's UFC 331 press conference in Los Angeles. Sharaf, who faces Steveson on Saturday's main card at Crypto Arena, was asked what he thinks of his opponent as the crowd booed Steveson. "I don't dislike the guy. Nobody likes a rapist. This guy raped a woman in 2019, and that's why everyone is booing him. You can't do that s**t. It's wrong." Steveson and a University of Minnesota teammate were arrested on June 15, 2019, after a woman reported she had been raped and went to a hospital for treatment, according to the Associated Press. In December 2019, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced no charges would be filed, saying, "In the interest of justice, there is inadequate evidence to fairly charge and prosecute this case."
