The alarm clock sound triggers a fight or flight response so they wake up. When you call your friends they get a sense of safety so they are able to sleep right through it. Make sure to keep calling them during the night so they know they are safe and protected 😊

If my ringer is turned off, you can hear my phone ring, I can’t. At the same time, my alarm clock works! I guess it’s magic. 🤷♀️

My son either has his ringer off or on do not disturb because I wouldn’t be able to reach him when he’s asleep so if it’s important I will go to his house and wake him up 🤷♀️

It’s the stage of sleep they’re in. You could call me at 10pm and I’ve just fallen asleep so I’ll hear the phone ring, but 3 hrs later I’ll be sound asleep and I won’t hear a thing, but 4 hrs later at 5am I’ll hear it again because my body has gone through an entire nights sleep.

1. ur body gets used to waking up over and over around a certain time, the more you use an alarm at that time, the more you will wake up at that time. If you called them moments before the alarm, they'd likely wake up from it. 2. They can be in deep sleep when you call them in contrast to with the alarm which is typically after 3. Their brain gets used to the sound of their alarm in correspondance to waking up alongside it

well they are getting up there looking out to see who called and if they don't want to talk they just let it sit there and ring you know I do that all the time early in the morning someone will call I'll call them later and I go right on back to sleep if it ain't having to go to work or something like that why
