This album was a flop for me. I’m sorry but she just doesn’t do it for me 😭😭 I want to love her sooo bad but every album except plastic hearts and endless summer just don’t do anything for me except maybe she is coming as well. Like she has an amazing versatile tone but for what we reason her songs just sound flat to me

the dark grungy songs are sexy, yes. however the emotional songs like snow & orbit are beautiful. smile the bonus dance track is also a banger.

i only liked the title track, innocent ways, and different religion… for an album titled bass persuades i was def expecting a more dark/grungy sound, not just ballads 😬

u should listen to after’s album cuz im so curious on ur thoughts. i personally loved and think its my fav drop of the day, though carly rae jepsen and tove lo were also great
