@wrestlestar_: THREE MINUTES. Nikki Bella and Paige had a grudge match on the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City and it was over in under three and a half minutes. On The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki said she had expected a premium live event quality fight and came in prepared for exactly that. She then said she prefers that WWE went a different route and left fans wanting more, and pointed out that their segment was among the most talked about parts of the night. Her friends texted her asking why the match was so short. Nikki said she kept it in character and told them it was Paige's fault for coming out angry. That is when Brie interjected and told her sister she should have pointed at where the boss is. One sentence, on their own show, and the explanation came apart. Opinion: Nikki Bella is making the best of a booking decision she did not make and Brie said what both of them were thinking. A three and a half minute grudge match is not a creative strategy, it is a time allocation, and the fact that it still generated more conversation than most of the show is the real indictment. If two women can be the most talked about thing on SmackDown with three minutes, the argument for giving them three minutes disappears entirely.
