Yes! Ya’ll have no idea how life changing that money was for us teachers when they voted yes for it years ago. We can lose up to 13k for experienced teachers. And btw alot of that money goes right back into our classroom anyway bc we pay so much out of our own pocket. It’s really devastating and I’m already mentally prepared to find a new job if the vote is no bc I truly can’t see how I can go back to making such little money. I’m sure a lot of other teachers will leave too unfortunately. They’re not RAISING the property tax, you’d be paying the same amount you’ve been paying the last 8 years. I really do wish the country allocated more money toward education so we didn’t have to rely so much on these property tax votes

Yeah no, I'm not paying more taxes for someone else to get a bonus. I'm ready for property tax to be eliminated.
