@namwilamulwanda: It’s come to my attention that we’re still shaming mothers in the big 2026 over *checks notes* breastfeeding in public? In the UK, breastfeeding is a protected legal right, and it is one for a reason. It’s hard enough to breastfeed without the noise of people making mothers feel ashamed for feeding their child (I mean heaven forbid you see a bit of titty while someone is nourishing their child) but for it to come from women is just sad. So to my breastfeeding mothers who are reading this, remember to block out the noise and feed. Your. children. Don’t let the comments get to you because at the end of the day, your child comes first. If you want to cover up do it. If you don’t, don’t. But make sure it’s what YOU want to do and if anyone has an issue, squeeze milk into their eye x #breastfeeding #breastfeedinginpublic
