@chris.raroque: First, I keep choosing Claude Code for iOS because it’s THE BEST I’ve used for design and anything that requires exploration and creativity. #ClaudePartner Even with Opus 5, I get better results for that kind of work than with anything else I’ve tried. And that’s before even getting into Fable 👀 Here’s my current workflow for building iOS apps: • Opus 5 with ultracode when I’m building multiple features at the same time. Otherwise, Opus 5 on Max. • Fable 5.1 on High for extremely complex issues. I rarely go above that. I’m using Claude Code in the desktop app on a Mac, with Xcode installed. Tell Claude to build your app and use the simulator to test it. The simulator opens inside Claude Code, and you can watch it tap through screens and check its work. You can also switch between available devices and iOS versions, or interact with the app yourself. For more specific build and testing workflows, you can connect tools like XcodeBuildMCP too. I also use simulators for iPad and Apple Watch development. Lately I’ve been using them to work on my Apple Watch designs. The most important part is giving Claude a clear goal AND telling it how to verify that it’s done. For a larger feature, I use /goal and spell out: • What needs to work. • Which screens and interactions to test. • What it shouldn’t change. • What counts as finished. Something like: “Build [feature], then use the simulator to test [specific flows]. Fix anything that fails and test it again. Only mark the goal complete once those checks pass. If you’re blocked, tell me what’s stopping you.” That gives Claude something concrete to keep working toward, so I’m not sitting there prompting every next step. I still review the result, but having Claude run the app and check its own changes has been a really useful addition to my workflow. Thanks for sharing! Can I ask if you need to build an app for iOS Android and web, so you use flutter or react native?

Damn... the sheer tokens. I have never bought a subscription coz it's just really expensive. Tho, I would do wonders - sigh!

I’ve stuck to creating spec sheets and tickets for implementing features. Wouldn’t using /goal cause context rot
