@postpunk.er: Umbra Vântului returns in a new D/GAm re-edited version, revisiting one of the most distinctive tracks from the post-punk’er project Boema Bacoviană. This new version was re-edited by DarkGoth Alternative music (D/GAm), preserving the original composition, story and atmosphere while giving the recording a renewed sonic presence. Unlike the other material connected to Boema Bacoviană, Umbra Vântului is an original song written and composed entirely by post-punk’er. It is not an adaptation of a poem by George Bacovia. Instead, it was created to inhabit the same emotional universe: coldness, solitude, decay, silence, autumnal desolation and the oppressive relationship between the individual and the world surrounding them. Musically, Umbra Vântului also stands apart as the only post-punk’er composition created specifically in a neo-folk noir style. Sparse, dark and deliberately restrained, the song follows the wind as an invisible presence, something that cannot be held or seen directly, but can be recognized through everything it touches, disturbs and leaves behind.
