Your complexion is the overall appearance of your skin, and that can change based on both your external environment (like sun exposure) and your internal environment (like hydration, inflammation, circulation, and oxygen delivery). That’s why someone can look vibrant one season and washed out the next. It’s also why low iron stores may leave some ppl looking paler than they did before. Their undertone hasn’t changed - their complexion has. This is exactly why I focus on optimizing health from within. Sometimes what we think is “just our skin tone” is actually our complexion reflecting what’s happening inside the body. #ferritin #iron
