well my thinking is he may have been close to the mark, but mycelium they are finding out has a communication skill set, its called the wood wide web and as we know the mushroom spores can live in outer space. and the strang thing is we share 30 to 40 percent of thr same chemical compounds now think on this.

I read about a chemical compound that been always in liquid form when synthesized it but some scientist make it crystal for the first time after that incident this particular chemical compound always will be crystal upon synthesizing it
