Picture this, E-5 for one year, still a new Team Leader, goes drill, picks up E-6, 2-3 years later back to the line, forgot what they knew as a TL and is now a SL with potentially 6-8 years in the Army and still doesn’t know wtf they’re doing. That’s where the problem is

Army wanting to downsize yet throw rank around just like they did with those that went recruiting. Nothing like the rank of SSG being the new SGT rank. Straight up losing value

one of my drills when I went threw basic and ait was an e5 and most Definitely would have deserved this at the time bc he worked the hardest atleast from what I could see from my little private eyes at the time back in 2021

Back in my day,80’s, you had go to a Fucking school, E5, then get E6, you had 2 yrs to go to two schools, if you didn’t, back to E-5
