@kpixtv: A mountain lion is safe after crews relocated the unexpected visitor. The big cat was first spotted in the Outer Sunset District near the intersection of 44th Avenue and Ulloa Street on Friday morning. Officers pushed media personnel and onlookers back as first responders tranquilized the mountain lion. Once the mountain lion was sedated, it was taken to a veterinarian for an assessment before a release back into the wild. It is unclear if this is the same mountain lion that appeared in San Francisco's Panhandle neighborhood earlier this month.
