This is only partially true, yes Yoko ate chocolate cake after Johns death because it was “John’s thing” and Elton John did gift her chocolate, but did John bake her chocolate cake for apologies? No, he did not. Was chocolate cake her favorite food? No, In fact Yoko herself admitted that she didnt really care for chocolate cake when he was alive, it was flipped, it was John who really had an obsession with chocolate cake while her favorite food was Kimchi, she only started eating chocolate cake as a coping mechanism to stay close to John. However its still a really sweet story for Elton, Yoko and John.
