@wired: The debate over whether AI can kill us has been everywhere lately, but what exactly would an actual AI catastrophe look like? This week, the “Uncanny Valley” team went looking for answers and found the three real-world scenarios experts worry the most about. Since when does AI have access to a totally anonymous robotic biology laboratory. And has anyone ever run the logic on how would AI evaluate a war of attrition?

I listed acronyms and the meanings of them, describing what they accomplish in the AI work and TikTok stoped the post and deleted it. Just a simple explanation and they banned it?

The whole heated debate begins to dissolve once we acknowledge that every AI is shaped and trained by programmers—and, in a broader sense, raised by us as a society; so the real question is which design principles programmers need to create a truly human-centered artificial intelligence, and what society must do to ensure that creative human intelligence remains primary in its relationship with artificial intelligence, rather than the other way around—in other words, we need to start thinking about AI politically, but not politically from the top down; we need to think about it cybernetically, as a reciprocal system in which humans and AI continuously shape one another.
