A couple of details I put into the edit: 1. The symbol of the poet is always a quill, and that reflects John's connection to birds really well. 2. I used Hal's quote "And the only way you get this ring is over my d body," because it perfectly captures the king clinging to his throne, his crown. 3. The sword and quill are at the bottom of the text, and the crown is at the top, as if placed on a head. 4. Each character has their own unique overlay. Guy — chaotic stars, which fits his chaotic, playful image really well. John — precise shapes, circles, a grid, like the beginning of a blueprint, which reflects him as an artist/architect. Hal — a strict frame, reflecting the rigid "frames" the king is confined within.
