@casitainbloom: There are a lot of things I’m still learning that I feel like I should’ve known by now. And I know I’m not the only one. So I’m going to start talking about them. The things we weren’t taught. The things we’re embarrassed to ask about. The things we’re all quietly trying to figure out. This is one of them. 🤎 A Girl Learns to Cook — Ep. 1 Ingredients: -2 Roma tomatoes -knorr de pollo -caldo de tomate -pinch of comino -garlic powder -onion powder -salt -2 cups of water Directions: 1. Throw all the ingredients into the blender to make your base. 2. Heat up the oil in your pan and toast the rice until it’s golden brown. 3. Add your base and 2 cups of water. 4. Mix and taste to see what’s missing and make adjustments if needed. 5. Cook on high for 10 minutes and put the lid on. 6. After 10 minutes stir once and then turn the heat down to low and cover to cook another 10 minutes. 7. Fold the rice gently after the second 10 minutes is up and turn off the heat. Place the lid back on the pot and leave it alone for another 10 minutes to get fluffy. 8. Y provecho!
