Hairstylist here! This is actually very common. 🤍 If your hair is long, some of those ends may have been on your head for 2–3+ years, meaning they’ve experienced years of mechanical damage from brushing, styling, clothing, heat, etc. Even with minimal heat and regular trims, this can still happen! Unfortunately, once a split end forms, it can’t be repaired permanently it can only be trimmed off or hidden.

Stop use bond repair if your hair isn’t damaged !!!! This is exactly what keratin overload looks like. Use once a month detox shampoo and something that hydrates your hair for every hair wash

My hair is to my ass. I trim my hair regularly to keep the split ends away. I also use an oil in my hair before I wash it to help protect them from drying out. When I brush I use a de tangling brush and start at my ends and work my way up. I also use a spray leave in conditioner after I towel dry my hair and have some different oil I use at night. The trick with the oil is only using a little, warm it up in your hands and brush till it’s absorbed. I’m the daughter of a hairdresser and my hair gets the longest when I trim it on a regular basis.
