@cspanofficial: President Trump said Friday he wasn't trying to "intimidate" the press with his move to ban CNN, MSNOW and Politico from the White House while threatening to bar more outlets, and defended the move whether or not it passes legal muster. "No, no, no, no, no. I dislike dishonest press, like you. I think you're terrible," he said when asked about his motive by Bloomberg News reporter Catherine Lucey. "I like to see honest press." The president said "we'll see" when asked whether he thinks such a ban would hold up in court. "I think it's good to point it out, whether it survives or doesn't," he said. The president argued that media outlets that purposely write negative stories should not necessarily be allowed into the White House. "It's sick. I mean, there's something wrong with a country that can allow people to write purposely negative stories," he said. "Now, if they want to write them, that's fine.
