Guys this is just ONE method for tying laces (double bunny ears) - you can absolutely do the loop around method. The point of the video is USING PIPE CLEANERS 🫶🏻 no matter which method you use 🤍

I have no idea how to teach my 2nd grader how to tie shoes. I've tried. This might help, since pipe cleaners aren't "floppy" like shoelaces and she won't lose her place so easily. I'm going to try it!

Don’t teach kids that method. That’s how I learned and I can’t tie the other way. I’m embarrassed every time I tie my shoe.

I saw online a mom putting the shoe lace tips in the top little holes on each side of the sneaker to hold the shoe laces in the “bunny ear” shape and tie them that way, I taught both of my adhd/autistic kiddos this way and they held lessons in their kindergarten and first grade classes to teach their classmates 😂 it works so well and is so easy!!

You can get shoe laces that bend like this to make it easier for preschools to tie shoes until they get stronger fine motor skills!

yall gotta stop hating on the bunny ear method. if you dont like it, dont use it, no one's saying you gotta teach it to ur kids. but its completely fine if someone else does. im 20 and thats the only way I can tie my shoes. I struggled for so long trying to do it the "correct" way until my sister finally showed me bunny ears. ive tied them like that my whole life now. and they dont "untie easier" and if they do, DOUBLE KNOT IT

This is brilliant. I struggled for years to teach my oldest because they have ADHD and would get frustrated and shut down. Now my youngest is ready to learn and this method will hopefully work better!

If you or your kid struggles with keeping the laces bunny eared, put the aglet into the hole where the lace comes out. This keeps it a circle for them
