I want to feel understood and like they can see where I’m coming from so even if they don’t agree, they will consider my feelings going forward. I feel like if they are just so hell bent on making sure I know that they don’t agree rather than then coming from a place of understanding then I can trust that going forward they will consider what I want too. But if they don’t understand, then they will continue to do similar behavior. And I honestly feel like it is a choice to not understand most of the time because they don’t want me to think they agree.
