we need him to be like Art. ppl find art the clown genuinely super creepy as well as very comedic and it's the balance of the two that leaves you feel uneasy. is art gonna maim you or honk his horn in your ear, you never know and it should be that energy with Freddy.

I’d love to see…. Something where Freddy is at his cruelest, yet because we’re all so damn tired the main character is so angry at the world and can’t be bothered by this crispy man. Nightmares? Ha! The real world is scarier.

And above all, if he’s meant for a new generation, let his look change too. Fulfill the nightmare of all those Gen X and Elder Millenials that keep screaming that Freddy needs to look exactly the same. The more you want it to happen, the more it shouldn’t. It’ll give someone else a chance to make the character their own. These kids don’t know Freddy like we knew him and they never will because Robert is done. Get over it and be open for change. Otherwise we are no better than the parents of Elm Street.

I think the other problem is that now AI fears are more scary than what Fred was, which was based on the like serial killer thing… I’d love to see if Freddy was just the one who’s actually burnt out like I thought I was a nightmare, but jeez this timeline is twisted…
