@_augustinhadelich: It's been a lot of fun playing with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Osmo Vänskä this week and last week! Here's a short clip from our rehearsal yesterday. After playing the Tchaikovsky concerto for years and years, there are still so many moments in the piece that make me smile! In this passage, the same theme is played first in a very sentimental way, and suddenly transforms into a fast, crazy dance. Then it moves up into the highest register, sounding like a kind of music box, played in harmonics. (Tchaikovsky intended the harmonics to continue in the same tempo, although later editions sometimes add a "meno mosso" for the harmonics) We have just one more concert left, tomorrow at Lotte Concert Hall! . . . . #violin #orchestra #fyp #classicalmusic #performance
