Episode 1 was SO good, but Episode 2’s last scene could’ve been handled WAY better than whatever that was. 😭 They’re cutting out so many scenes, and it’s seriously hurting the pacing of the story. Most of Pheem’s actions won’t even make sense to someone who hasn’t already read the book. And not showing the Parn and Techin scene, which happens to be one of the biggest and most important parts of their story was such a questionable choice. The editing feels so rushed, like they’re trying to squeeze everything in without letting the scenes breathe. At this point, it’s all depending on Lenamiu’s acting and character portrayal are carrying the show. As a fan and a viewer, this is just such sloppy work. There’s so much potential here, and it’s frustrating to see the story being affected by rushed editing and unnecessary cuts.
