girl I kept waking up and taking photos. I even started a live on instagram dont remember any of it but my camera roll was full of photos and I kept facetiming my parents lol

hi!!! it’s because you’re intubated. We often use restraints when the pt is waking up because there’s a strong chance you might panic and try to rip out the tubing.

Had a pt get up and go to the BATHROOM one time while vented and maxed out on literally everything. She’s a unit legend now. Didn’t self-extubate either. I will always remember her name. Every time I have a vented pt she haunts me.
