@goddesssofwealth: Opening night at Knott’s Scary Farm, and of course we had to check out the two new mazes this year. First up was Unearthed, an Indiana Jones-inspired archaeological excavation featuring the mythical Anunnaki, mummies, ancient tablets, and plenty of booby traps. The concept was honestly really cool and made the maze feel like you were actually exploring an ancient excavation site. Then we checked out Inked, which takes place in the 1930s inside the fictional Morbid Studios. The story follows a washed-up cartoonist named Mortimer Morbid who discovers that using blood as ink brings his drawings to life. Inked was definitely my favorite of the two. The cartoon-style characters and whole aesthetic gave me major Mickey & Friends Runaway Railway vibes… except make it horror. Opening night was definitely a fun way to kick off Scary Farm.
