So, 2 things: 1. I think Trump says enough stupid shit that they don't need to twist his words. The fact that they also twist his words I think is destroying their credibility. Thus reinforcing his point of "fake news" 2. My trust in the media, specifically NBC, is significantly decreased because of them looking into the holdout juror and publishing his history. This instance solidifies my belief of, and it supports your point, that they have no morals or credibility. Journalism is dead and it's only propaganda.

My husband went down a rabbit whole on the news. I didn’t matter what channel he watched, what side they leaned towards, they used the exact same words when reporting the news. Clip after clip after clip of the exact same words used for the same story. All over the country. It was enlightening honestly. That’s not journalism, that’s gossip.

I miss when anchors just gave us truthful facts and the TV went static at midnight. There is nothing on the news I believe anymore. They've become the new tabloids.

biggest issue is 24h news channels too much time to fill with nothing actually happening so they have to sensationalize every little thing

News was supposed to be impartial. I remember when shortly after Dan Rather replaced Walter Cronkite my father starting to complain that editorial had entered newsbroadcasting, and wasn't just during the portion stating it was editorial.
