....Once a boy snapped my bra strap in middle school (it was a whole thing going on for a while) and when it finally happened to me I turned around and slugged him. When the school called my dad he told them to be happy I had handled it before he did, and if they wanted to take me defending myself further he'd press charges on the boy for sexual harassment and the school failing to protect us.

In kindergarten my little sister dressed as a black cat, in a leotard with ears and a tail, for Halloween at school. Her male classmate pinched her butt and said she was “cute”— my sister punched him in the face and was sent to the office. Just so happened my Dad was on shore leave and was the one who got the call. Guess whose Daddy went ape shit asking why his baby was sent to the office and not the boy? Guess whose Daddy became the classroom parent/assistant for the remainder of his shore leave just so he could stink eye a five year old boy (really it was to make my sister feel safe)? There are good men. My Dad is a great one. One time we had a creepy neighbor who was peeping in our bedroom window— my Dad didn’t question our version of events for a second— he went over to have a talk with the neighbor while conveniently holding a machete 😅 My Dad is a Dad to all girls and has granddaughters and he stands TEN toes down for his girls. Coincidentally— all three of his girls married great men! Because we weren’t settling for anything less. 🥰

omg I remember in high school in health class our teacher split us up with girls on one side, boys on the other and we had to talk amongst ourselves and come up with questions for the other sex. the boys asked "can you touch your elbows behind your back" and almost all the girls started doing it and I was like "NOOO stop, theyre being perverts" and the girls were shocked they would do that and all the boys called me a prude. which is funny cause they all bullied me for "being a slut".

in middle school the boys would go around asking the girls if the could see their hand and then they'd yank one of their fingers back really quit and then tell them the noise they made was their "sex sound". By the time one of them asked me I knew what they were doing and also have a pretty high pain tolerance so I let them and stayed quiet while I stared at him blankly and it scared them so bad they avoided me like the plague. I told anyone who would listen to me not to fall for it.
