this is so overblown. the light is a star on the ground and the star is reaching into the person. it's telling you to be a star. the girl is walking with a pair of shoes and holding them in her hands not by the laces in her hands. and why would Converse depict its own shoes as the black person being lynched if that's what you see here. there is symbolism in this photograph. but I guess you see what you want to see.
