@misjuns: UPDATE: Just got word — the water is back ON at Park Place, but pressure is low. Residents aren’t sure if this is temporary or the final fix. Water has been off since late morning after inadequate water since late Sunday. I filmed this on site a little earlier. Water Resources Director Tim Mitchell was here. The city truck was on scene. An Emergency Nuisance Abatement Notice is in place: management had until 2:00 p.m. tomorrow or Water Resources takes over the repairs. Tonight they were also lining up more bottled water, a potable tanker, and porta-johns. Families here have been without adequate water too long. People need to flush toilets and take showers. This is Lynchburg taking care of Lynchburg. Flushing toilets is not political. Thank you to every volunteer and organization that stepped up this week. We’ll keep watching to make sure it stays on and stays reliable. #Lynchburg #LynchburgVA #ParkPlace #ParkPlaceApartments
