I'm not trying to dampen the happiness of his regain of freedom, which he deserves with no question. But outside of this, I would suggest you prioritise your safety regardless of who the man is. Safety exit plan. Access to renew a 'lost' passport. Seperate bank account they don't know anything about. People checking in on you irl regularly. This is needed for ANY man that you need to uproot your life to be around. Be safe friend x
