Guys, I have a friend I’ve known for 7 years, and I genuinely want to know what you think about this. We actually chat a LOT, even in group chats, and when we’re texting privately, we talk normally.But the moment I arrive somewhere in person, it’s like a switch flips. She sees me and suddenly avoids eye contact, rubs her nose/face, turns away, or literally walks off and starts talking to someone else. And this happens SO often. I started doing the same thing back, and guess what? Then she comes and talks to me normally. It’s becoming such an irritating pattern because I don’t understand why we can talk so much otherwise, but in person, especially when we’re in a group, I’m treated like I’m not there. Am I reading too much into this, or would this bother you too? 👀
