@thefathersguild: The principle is sound and I've used it many times. Natural consequences lead to more effective learning and more growth for the child. The less emotional you are about the consequence, the better it goes over and the more they learn. "You forgot your shoes at the house. Bummer. Looks like you are not going to have shoes today" . The next time the child is more likely to remembers shoes. • This specific instance however, was not the success that I thought it was. 😂😂
