@stillwaters.dg: Round 1: The Devil Who Hears Every Lie 😈 Joker vs. Daredevil Version: Peak standard Earth-616 Matt Murdock. No outside Avengers or Defenders intervention. TEST: Fear resistance + sensory overload Joker’s usual opening strategy is fear: • Gas the city. • Make victims laugh while dying. • Create uncertainty. • Force impossible choices. • Make the hero feel responsible for every person they fail to save. Round 2: The Hero Who Thinks Every Death Is His Fault 🕷️ Joker vs. Spider-Man Version: Peak standard Earth-616 Peter Parker. No symbiote, no cosmic upgrades, standard support network available unless Joker isolates it. TEST: Trauma + responsibility Spider-Man is Joker’s favorite kind of target: • A hero with a huge heart. • A history of loss. • A belief that saving one person matters. • Guilt tied to Uncle Ben, Gwen Stacy, Captain Stacy, and every civilian Peter cannot reach in time. • A secret identity that puts loved ones in danger. Joker does not need to convince Peter that the world is meaningless. Peter already knows the world can be cruel. Round 3: The Prince Who Chose Himself 🔥 Joker vs. Zuko Version: End-of-series Avatar: The Last Airbender Zuko, post-redemption, Fire Lord status excluded; standard emotional support available if not successfully isolated. TEST: Identity + shame + family trauma Zuko is the best identity round imaginable. For most of his life, Zuko’s identity depended on approval he could never earn. His father abused him, banished him, scarred him, and taught him to believe honor meant obedience. He chased the Avatar because he thought capturing Aang would fix the hole in his life. Joker sees an easy target: • A scar that never lets him forget. • A father whose validation he wanted. • Guilt over betrayal. • Shame over his past. • A title and legacy built on violence. Joker tries to drag Zuko back into the person he was. Round 4: The Man Out of Time Who Still Believes 🛡️ Joker vs. Captain America Version: Peak standard Earth-616 Steve Rogers. Standard support network allowed. TEST: Morality + moral injury Captain America is Joker’s morality round. Steve has war trauma. He has survivor’s guilt. He has watched governments fail. He has seen institutions become corrupt. He has lost friends, nations, and versions of the future he wanted. Joker tries to make Steve compromise. Round 5: The Boy Who Was Never Supposed to Forgive 🍥 Joker vs. Naruto Uzumaki Version: End-of-series Naruto, no Kurama-assisted emotional intervention from allies; he retains his own memories, ideals, and standard support network if Joker cannot isolate it. TEST: Trauma + hatred + despair Naruto is dangerous for Joker because he has already experienced the exact kind of loneliness and rejection Joker uses to break people. He was hated. He was isolated. He was treated like a monster. He lost people. He had every reason to become bitter. Joker sees that as an opportunity. Round 6: The Man Who Still Hears the World Cry ☀️ Joker vs. Superman Version: Peak standard mainline Superman. No cosmic amps, no mind control immunity handwave, standard Clark/Kal-El support network allowed. TEST: Hope + complete psychological assault Superman is the final boss because Joker’s worldview is directly opposed to his. Joker believes: • People are selfish. • Morality collapses under pressure. • Hope is a joke. • One terrible day reveals everyone’s “real” self. • Compassion is weakness. Superman believes: • People can choose good even when it costs them. • Power should protect, not dominate. • Hope is not ignorance of suffering; it is action despite suffering. • A person’s worst day does not define their whole life. #thejoker #dccomics #anime #marvel #fyp

I feel like Superman shouldn’t be here, seeing as he already broke him in the Injustice timeline.

He can break anyone here BUT spiderman. It was already talked about in the comics, Joker and SM just sit and talk about his life on a rooftop, and how Pete disproves Joker's "Everyone only needs one bad day" theory.

Abyss :
The issue everybody is running into here is what “break” entails. Breaking the Bat means making him go against his own rule: no killing. That only works for people like Bruce Wayne. Matt Murdock, maybe; but Peter Parker? Naruto? Peter has made it clear in many iterations that the boy, Peter Parker, will kill your ass if you try some fuck shit. And Naruto has literally killed people; he was a fucking ninja during wartime. Hell, even Cap would just kill the bastard; he was killing Nazi’s without a concern, he was a fucking soldier. “Breaking” somebody doesn’t work the same way for every character; every single person has their own little wires you gotta pull on before you can cause a fire, and some characters will straight up slime your ass out before you ever figure out which wires to pull on.
