@visaliastringer: Exeter PD Press Release SHOOTING INVESTIGATION – 300 BLOCK OF JACOB PLACE On Thursday, September 17, 2026, at approximately 5:36 p.m., Exeter Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of Jacob Place in Exeter. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound at an apartment complex. Officers immediately began providing emergency medical aid until Exeter Ambulance personnel arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. Personnel from the Farmersville Police Department, Woodlake Police Department, Lindsay Police Department, and Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist Exeter officers at the scene. Investigative resources from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were requested and responded. This remains an active investigation.
